The citation may be listed under the figure or in a credit section of the publication.
General Permissions Information
Permission to use Wolters Kluwer book content can be obtained using RightsLink, the Copyright Clearance Center’s online permission service. OR:
Wolters Kluwer Health has partnered with the Copyright Clearance Center to provide permissions for our book products through CCC’s RightsLink® service.
- Using the search box at the top of this page, search for the book that contains the material you want to use.
- Clicking on the "Request Permission" box that appears on the right side of the page below the cart will bring up a new screen, which is RightsLink.
- Once the form appears, select from the drop-down options to get a quick price.
- Create a RightsLink account if you don’t already have one.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions, pay for your order, and download and print your license to complete your request.

Before requesting permission, please note the following:
- Figures and other content requested must be original to the Wolters Kluwer book, and not credited to any other source (person, company, society, etc.)
- Please include the 13-digit ISBN of the book from which you want to borrow. Providing complete requests will maximize our turnaround time.
- Incomplete requests will delay the processing and completion of your request.
How to Request for Different Types of Use
Alternate Format Files for Students
- We will provide files in pdf format for students with a documented disability.
- Requests for these files must come from the institution’s Assistive Services Department, or from someone on the staff who is authorized to make such requests.
- Files are sent to the institutional rep who may distribute to the student upon seeing proof of purchase of our book.
- Demand for these files can be extremely high; please order as far in advance as possible.

Translations
The Wolters Kluwer Health translation rights sales team works with vetted foreign rights publishing partners. If you are an individual translator, we encourage you to identify and contact an established translation publisher in the language you are interested in and ask them to contact the Wolters Kluwer Health translation rights team directly.
